Jason Schwartz – about
This is the personal blog of Jason Schwartz. You can follow me on Twitter at Jschwa or email me at j.schwartz4 AT gmail
I am a Product Manager and User Experience designer in New York. I love simple, minimal, easy to use products. I’m currently working on a bookmarking app for places called Matchbook.
I formerly worked at Angelsoft, where I built software for Angel Investors and Venture Capitalists to manage deal flow. I founded TheEastEnd, a private social network for the Hamptons, and Robber Baron Music, a small digital music label. I also created Tech-Debate to bring competitive debate to important technology topics.
I have given talks on how to build a brand with social media (SXSW’07), why piracy will save the music industry (SXSW’08), and the future of print journalism (AAN).
Today, we are in the midst of a digital revolution. Technology has altered the landscape of business as significantly as machinery did over 100 years ago. We are in the very earliest stages of this revolution. How we proceed will shape its future and will reflect how this time period is remembered historically. The goal of this blog is to chronicle our progress.
